A little about me
I am passionate aboout supporting people experiencing emotional pain or trauma to find hope, in an empathic and compassionate way.
I have 20+ years experience working with children and young people, and their families, many of whom have experienced trauma, including: bereavement, domestic abuse, family breakdown, family illness, bullying, anxiety and EBSNA (emotionally based school non-attendance), as well as supporting children who are, or have been, looked after by foster carers or wider family.
One of the interventions I have seen incredible results from is Drawing and Talking, and I am delighted to now offer this support on a private basis.

What is Drawing & Talking?
Drawing and Talking is an attachment based, person centred, therapeutic intervention that can be less confronting than traditional CBT and talking based therapies. It allows individuals to discover and communicate emotions, and process trauma, in a safe, non-confronting, way.
Drawing and Talking can by carried out on a 1:1 basis, with sessions taking place at the same time every week, for 12 weeks, or as part of a small group session, over 6 - 8 weeks. 1:1 sand play can also be used, particularly for very young children.
''Healing begins when we slow down enough to listen.''
